Project case study
Print Building, Timber Square
Waterproofing condition survey and options appraisal for remedial works to the Print Building basement at Timber Square, addressing active water ingress and non-compliance with BS 8102:2022.
CLW were appointed by Mace to undertake a waterproofing condition survey and options appraisal for remedial works to the Print Building basement at Timber Square. The site inspection identified widespread active water ingress, rising damp and damp staining, arising from construction joint failures and cavity drainage deficiencies among other issues.
CLW developed a structured options appraisal presenting low-, medium- and high-risk remedial strategies. These combined targeted concrete repairs, resin injection, improvements to drainage and additional waterproofing measures to address the non-compliance with BS 8102:2022.
