Kidbrooke Village, London - two-storey basement car park waterproofing scheme

Project case study

Kidbrooke Village

Waterproofing design for a two-storey basement car park beneath Block G and associated podium areas at Kidbrooke Village, specifying Type A and Type B protection across Grade 2 and Grade 3 environments.

CLW were commissioned as the waterproofing design consultant for a two-storey basement car park at Kidbrooke Village, extending beneath the whole of Block G and the associated podium areas at ground level. Block F ground floor level is fully retained to one elevation and partially retained to two further sides.

Working closely with the wider design team, CLW developed a clear and efficient design for the waterproofing, specifying both Type A external membrane and Type B structurally integral protection. This addressed the required performance grades across the scheme, where both Grade 2 and Grade 3 environments were present.
