JESB Building, Poole - basement car park waterproofing condition survey

Project case study

JESB Building, Poole

Waterproofing condition survey and review of an existing basement car park and podium areas at the JESB Building, Poole, against the Grade 1B requirements of BS 8102:2022.

CLW were appointed by Morgan Sindall to undertake a waterproofing condition survey and review of the basement car park and associated podium areas at the JESB Building on Wimborne Road, Poole. The existing basement, constructed approximately fifteen years ago, comprises a reinforced concrete frame with secant piled retaining walls, and requires Grade 1B performance in accordance with BS 8102:2022.

CLW conducted a detailed site inspection covering the cavity drain system, the general basement areas, the podiums and the movement joints. The resulting condition report identified areas of dampness and seepage and set out a recommended waterproofing approach.
