Project case study
Ewer Street
Waterproofing condition survey of existing arches at Ewer Street, recommending a new internal Type C system and new podium waterproofing to achieve Grade 3 performance.
CLW were commissioned to carry out a site visit and waterproofing condition survey at Ewer Street, inspecting the existing arches and recommending a suitable waterproofing solution. The work was undertaken for Castleforge Partners.
From the initial inspections, the existing waterproofing strategy at podium level could not be fully ascertained. CLW therefore recommended that the arches receive a new internal Type C system, combined with new waterproofing to all areas of the podium extending outside the new superstructure over the archways, in order to provide Grade 3 waterproofing performance.
