Project case study
Beaufort Park
Waterproofing design for the basement at Beaufort Park Block D, specifying Type A and Type B protection to achieve Grade 2 and Grade 3 environments, with co-ordinated ground gas protection.
CLW was commissioned as the waterproofing design consultant for the basement at Beaufort Park Block D. Working closely with the wider design team, CLW developed a clear and efficient design for the Grade 2 and Grade 3 waterproofing, specifying both Type A external membrane and Type B structurally integral protection to achieve the required performance.
The site also carried a requirement for ground gas protection. CLW worked alongside the gas protection specialist to confirm that the proposed membrane would provide suitable waterproofing performance as well as gas resistance, so that a single co-ordinated barrier addressed both demands.
