Axis Tower
Waterproofing design for a residential tower block in Manchester, combining Type B concrete (Xypex) with Type A cementitious slurry and an external Type A barrier.
Axis Tower is a residential tower block in Manchester. CLW provided the waterproofing design, working with Russells Construction.
The strategy combined Type B watertight concrete using a Xypex crystalline system with Type A cementitious slurry and an external Type A barrier, layering integral and applied protection to suit the below-ground structure.
